Dr. Alhassan Abdul-Barik

Dr. Alhassan Abdul-Barik is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Cyber Security and Computer Engineering Technology, Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences, C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences. He received his B.Sc degree in 2006 in Computer Science from the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, Ghana. He obtained his Master of Philosophy degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Applied Mathematics, Kumasi, Ghana in 2012, where he specialized in computer solution to scientific problems and Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from the University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana in 2017.

Before becoming the Head of DCSCET, he was appointed a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, UDS in 2017.

He has numerous publications to his credit and is supervising students from undergraduate to doctoral level.
His research areas include; Computer Hardware and Architecture, Residue Number Systems (RNS), Information Security/Cryptography, Algorithm Design and Analysis, and Statistical Computing.
